Amy Harriot
Yard manager

Amy has over 15 years of experience working with horses and running professional yards. Her career spans working internationally and across multiple disciplines, including time spent in Europe as a travelling groom with competition horses, where she gained valuable knowledge and skills at the highest level.Horses have been central to Amy’s life from a young age, and she has consistently competed in the show ring, focusing on performance, precision, and presentation. She has a huge passion for her horses—they are part of her every day, and every horse in her care is looked after as if it were her own. Today, she produces and presents ponies at county and top-level shows nationwide, maintaining the highest standards in every aspect of showing.

Amy specialises in schooling and producing ponies with challenges or behavioural issues. She believes that every pony has a job, and with time, patience, and the right approach, each one can reach its full potential. Her skill in developing confidence, performance, and reliability in every pony she works with sets her apart in the show world.Amy is proud to train under Jo Bates, whose guidance, support, and horsemanship have been a major influence on her approach to producing and presenting ponies in the show ring. Jo’s guidance has shaped not only Amy’s skills but also her approach, ensuring excellence at every level.

Toby
Yard manager

Toby began riding before he could walk and enjoyed a successful career as a professional jockey for over 10 years. Starting as an amateur, he gained experience both on the flat and over jumps before turning professional, riding in over 1,000 races across Europe. Toby also had the honour of representing Great Britain in France, finishing second on French Oaks Day.

Toby has a particular talent for breaking in young horses and retraining ex-racehorses. Working alongside Amy, he combines his extensive knowledge of the racing industry with her expertise in schooling and producing ponies, making them a highly effective team in retraining and developing horses. He takes a patient, considered approach, carefully watching each horse grow in confidence and ability, and specialises in horses that are challenging or in need of rehabilitation.With Amy, Toby ensures each horse receives expert care and guidance, combining patience and skill to bring out their full potential.
